The flowing movements of classical ballet, together with its music, soften the sense and release the soul.  Students not only enjoy moving their bodies with ease, but also have the satisfaction of knowing that they will benefit from this art for as long as they shall live.

About Dance for a Change

Dance for a Change is a ballet school in Pinelands that focuses on developing dance technique and artistry for stage performance. Students are  offered various performance opportunities at the Artscape and Baxter theatres, and opportunities to audition for Cape Town City Ballet's Christmas productions. The studio participates annually in the Dancers Love Dance fundraising event (Baxter and Artscape), New World Dance Theatre's Against All Odds (Artscape Theatre), Dancers Love Dancers (Artscape Opera House), Cape Town City Ballet's Centre Stage and other guest performances in local theatres. Students may select to complete grade examinations in the Cecchetti method.
