The focus of Dance for a Change ballet training is on developing technique and artistry for stage performance. Students are offered various performance opportunities at the Artscape and Baxter theatres, and opportunities to audition for Cape Town City Ballet's Christmas productions. The studio participates annually in Dancers Love Dance fundraising event (Baxter and Artscape), New World Dance Theatre's Against All Odds (Artscape Theatre), Dancers Love Dancers (Artscape Opera House), and other guest performances in local theatres.
